Adam M. Gates is the Vice President of Acquisitions of Cypress where he is responsible for investment acquisition. Mr. Gates oversees acquisitions in the Florida and Texas markets, and offers specific expertise in both due diligence and the structuring of joint ventures and equity/mezzanine investments. He is also responsible for maintaining relationships with national and local brokerage firms. Prior to joining Cypress, Mr. Gates was with ProLogis where he was responsible for acquisition and new development in the Ontario, California office. Mr. Gates also worked as a Development Manager with the Koll Company where he was responsible for the vertical development of several mixed use projects in Southern California. Mr. Gates received his undergraduate degree in Construction Management and Business from California Polytechnic University at San Luis Obispo and a Masters in Business Administration from The University of Texas at Austin. Mr. Gates is a member of the Associate Council for the University of Texas’ Real Estate Finance and Investment Center.
